Experience and Career: He worked as a Public Prosecutor between 1989-2005, served as a Criminal Judge of Ağrı Criminal and First Instance between 2005-2013. He retired in 2013 of his own accord and started to work as a lawyer. He took the title of Mediator in 2015.
While working as a Judge and Prosecutor, he also provided professional trainings to judges and prosecutors within the Ministry of Justice on the European Convention on Human Rights and its decisions and on the introduction of the 2004 Turkish Criminal Code and Criminal Court Law and the introduction of the mediation institution under the Turkish Criminal Code. He gave reconciliation training at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Medipol University, Yeni Yüzyıl University and Altınbaş University. He has published many articles.
Education: He graduated from Ankara University in 1985 and completed his master’s degree at Marmara University in 1994 and his doctorate at Yeditepe University in 2017. The subject of the master’s thesis is “Principle of Personal Freedom and Security”, and the doctoral thesis is “Delaying the Announcement of the Provision”.
